Moringa – An Ancient Remedy for All That Ails You!
Moringa Oleifera, which is native to the Himalayas in Northwestern India, is often called “miracle tree” because of its high level of nutrition. In fact, it is said that 2 teaspoons of Moringa contain 8.5 x the Protein of yoghurt, 15 x the Potassium of bananas, 10.5 x the Vitamin A of carrots, 12 x the Iron of spinach, and 16.5 x the Calcium of milk! Earthy flavoured Moringa powder can be added to your daily smoothie or salad giving you an abundance of easily digestible plant-based nutrition. It can also be brewed as a tea and used in various soups and sauces.
As with all herbs, choose an organic, raw version whenever possible which ensures no harmful GMO’s, pesticides, or chemicals. Start slowly with a half teaspoon daily and work your way up.
One version that I enjoy is Ankh Rah Moringa Leaf Powder.
